With the custom-built Squadron Quality Control App, a digital solution was implemented that not only saves time, but also ensures conclusive evidence and streamlined management.

      Challenge

      In the past, when rental vehicles were damaged, a lot of time was wasted in finding out who was responsible. Without conclusive proof, this often led to disputes and left ATRAC itself with the costs. The lack of a standardised and efficient verification process created red tape and unnecessary costs.

    • ATRAC wanted to digitise and automate the control process of rental vehicles. The solution needed to:

      • Accurately record damage on departure and return of a vehicle.
      • Provide conclusive evidence to clarify responsibilities.
      • Minimise discussions and administrative burden.
      • Increase efficiency through standardisation and digitisation.
    • The solution: Squadron Rental App

    • To address these challenges, Squadron developed a customised version of the Quality Control App, specifically aimed at rental processes.

      With the Squadron Rental App, the control process is carried out in two simple steps:

      1. Check at departure

      When collecting a vehicle, the ATRAC employee performs a digital inspection using a set checklist. This involves taking pictures of crucial parts such as:

      • Identification plate and chassis number
      • Tyres and wheels
      • Hydraulic systems
      • The entire bodywork (front, side and rear views)
      • Interior and cargo space

      2. Check on return

      When the vehicle is returned, the same inspection is carried out again. The app automatically compares the new inspection with the previous one and differences, such as new damage or missing parts, become immediately apparent.

      Automatic Dossier Creation

      • All collected data and photos are immediately processed in a digital file.
      • Damage cases are clearly visualised.
      • The file is automatically forwarded to the person responsible within ATRAC for further follow-up.
